LOTD: Black White Faux Fur and Leather Ensemble

In this LOTD (look of the day), I went with an all black/white ensemble featuring a mix of different textures. I've put together this outfit with 2 of my favorite piece which are the zebra print faux fur jacket and black faux leather pants, both were recent purchases from H&M. I think these 2 pieces works great together where it has a mix of different textures to make it more interesting and a stand out on its own. The simple black and white palette is always a classic. Since both pieces are quite loud, so I opted to styled with a simple white long sleeve relax fit jersey top (from GAP). I completed the outfit with a pair of black leather stack heel boots (from Joe Fresh) and black purse (from H&M). For jewels, I added a triple strand gold chain statement necklace to give it a pop of ghetto fab spin to this black/white mix.

If you are not a fan of fur or want something more tone down, you can easily switch to a different jacket. A bright color jacket/coat makes is a great option where it gives a pop of color against the black/white ensemble. Another great option is a jacket with a fun or interesting print. With such a clean and simple base like this white top and black pants, you can pretty much pair it with any style/color/print/length/fit  jacket/coat of your choice. You can even switch up the accessories and jewels to make it more your style. When styling any black/white ensemble, I always tend to do a pop of red as accents like pair of red pumps and small red purse. That will make a great transition from day to a night look by just switching up few pieces and red lips.
