Plaid: Edgy Rock and Moto Chic

Plaid is a classic print that never really go out of style and it comes back stronger than ever this season. It is THE trend that is all over the runway. Plaid comes in many different colors but red is gotta be the most popular shade when it comes to the whole punk and grunge trend, esp when mixed with leather or faux leather accents.

For today's look, I started with this black tee that has "INSPIRE ME" printed on the front. This shirt has an edgy and rock feel, so I went with that direction and opted with a pair of red skinny jeans that goes perfectly with the top. For shoes, instead of going with black ankle booties, I chose this pair of black sneakers with gold accents I recently got from H&M which ties well with the casual black and white tone top. To give this whole look the final touch, I put on this plaid print faux leather moto jacket I newly acquired from Urban Outfitters for such a steal. I just love the whole look and feel of this jacket that are both on trend and versatile. Since it was a rainy day, so I threw on this hat which I thought goes so well together with this whole edgy rock and moto chic look.

Normally I like to plan out my outfits but for today, I had no clue what I wanted to wear. I browse thru my closet and came across this shirt that literally "INSPIRED ME" to come up with today's look. This is not a look I frequent much but I love trying out and coming up with different styles. This is a great outfit for those busy weekends where you will be doing lots of  running around cuz these sneakers are made for walking.

Faux Fur Fun!!!

After 2 weeks of harsh bitter cold weather, we finally got a nice break this weekend with really nice and warm sunshine. For once I didn't have to wear my heavy duty thick coat, so I broke out my beloved faux fur vest in today's ensemble. I started off with this pair of light wash destroyed denim and picked out a multi color plaid fitted button down shirt that gives just enough color to balance out the bottom. Since both the outfit by itself is on the casual side, so I opted for a pair of pumps to give height and glam things up. By topping it with a faux fur vest, it gives that extra ghetto fab and urban cool edge without going over the board. I added my new beloved crossbody tote to add a nice pop of color to the whole ensemble. I love the versatility of this bag where I can carry it crossbody, on shoulder, hand-held, or wrist-held as I demonstrate here.

Festive Holiday Ensemble: Pink Santa Baby !!!

I love this time of the year where everywhere is filled with festive spirit and decorations. To ring in the holiday spirit, I chose this pink shade dress that I think is quite festive and styled it with a long black cardigan. I finished the look with pair of black vertical line tights and pair of black leather pumps. I added a matching pink color Santa hat for that extra Xmas touch. For jewels, I added a few sparkle pieces which are always festive for the holidays.

Went around to check out all the fancy Christmas lighting by my hood. The first house gotta be the most fancy and decked up one in the bunch. It has lights and decors all around the 3 story high house. These photos doesn't do enough justice. It looks even more extravagant in person.
