Weekend Round of Outfits and Events

I had quite an eventful and fun weekend and thought to share with you all my round of outfits to each of the outings and events. Hope you all enjoy this post viewing the different ensembles I put together and perhaps give you some inspirations.

Friday Night Out At the Museum: Biker Chic

Met up with a few girlfriends to attend this happy hour at the Asia Society Leo Bar inside a museum. In picking out my outfit for the night, I wanted a night look that is both chic and sophisticated so I opted for this black and white ensemble. I recently picked up this black faux leather fit and flare cut skirt from H&M that I wanted to wear where I styled it with a black/white stripe fitted peplum top (from EXPRESS) tucked in for a more fitted silhouette. Shoe wise, I opted for a classic leather pump in a peachy pink shade instead of black ones. The color is a neutral skin color that blended in with my skin which helps to give the illusion of longer and slender legs which is always a plus. To break up the whole black/white ensemble, I chose this light blue faux croc finish satchel (from Target) to add a touch of color. For jewels, I went with all silver tone instead of the gold that I normally would go for.

When going out at night, I always carry a thin jacket with me in case weather gets cold later in the evening, so I went with another black faux leather piece, this cropped moto jacket I also got from H&M. The toughness of the moto jacket help to balance out the girliness of the fit and flare skirt.

Saturday Day Outfit for Block Party: Effortless Chic

Went to a block party with my nephew and niece to have a playdate with my friend's daughter. Even though it is already October but it was one warm sunny summer day, thus I opted for this army muted green shade maxi dress from Old Navy. I paired this dress with a simple gold tone T strap flats (my summer go to flats) from NY&Co, a black purse from H&M, and sunglasses. Accented with some gold tone jewels. I just got this dress from the mail on Friday and it came at the perfect to be worn for this outing. I just love everything about this dress. I got this in petite so the length is perfect for petite girls like me where I can still wear it with my flats. The rope neckline detail is cute and the elastic waist give it shape without having to wear a belt. This is what I called casual and effortless chic that is super comfy yet still polish.

Saturday Night Outfit For Wedding: Classic Black and White

I wore this EXPRESS white/black strapless dress (which came with a teal color skinny belt) styled with a pair of black satin peep-toe platform pumps and black satin bow clutch. Accessorized with gold and sparkly jewels. Glammed up with fuchsia shape lips which always give a nice pop of bright color to any white/black ensemble.

Sunday Lunch Out With Family: Casual Kool

Today's OOTD, I went casual and comfy with this ensemble. I chose a pair of sienna shade of skinny pants (from H&M) styled with a simple white V neck Tee (from Old Navy), layered with a denim vest (from H&M), and topped with my fav go to casual beige jacket. For shoes, I went with a pair of cognac shade wedge sneakers which give a lil height that is still comfy. I also took out this taupe leather with light brown leather trimming shoulder bag (from Dooney Burke) from my closet which I think completes the outfit since it has the same color tone. For jewels, I wore a Jewelmint necklace, Banana Republic bangle, 2 gold bracelets (from H&M), pair of multi-color crystal earrings (from Banana Republic) and my rose gold tone watch (from NY&Co).
